Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28, 1967) was an American performer and actress. Her career started when she was still in her teens. Her most well-known performances include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders as well as Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as Payroll accountant as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer (a officer and dealer in cars). Her siblings include three. She began singing in club nights as a teenager. She was known to sneak away from her house to sing. At the Wooster School, at 13 years old and began to study the art of drama. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College located at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London with the well-known teacher Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. Born on the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her German-American father is an auto dealer as well as a police officer. Kari has three brothers and sisters. When she was in her teens performing in nightclubs, she was able to make a name for herself in secret, escaping to perform. Kari at the time was 13 years old, attended the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She also attended drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor known for her work as Uta. Kari began her journey into acting at the age of 13 and got her first big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
