Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. She's English but her father was Nigerian. She grew on an estate in South London council estate and at the age of 14, attended The Brit School. She was a student at an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an BA in acting. During her time at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions, including King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe got her start in acting by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. She has since made appearances on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. In the wake of that film's success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. She also landed the part as Bambi on The ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe was also the lead character in How to lose friends & alienate people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in 2008. Some of her theatre credits are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her US debut on the Drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. It was revealed in May 2013 that she'd be leaving the series following a guest episode in the initial series of the 3rd. Between 2014 and the year 2016, she appeared on Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe married her long-time lover, Iddo. In addition to Secret Diary of a Call Girl They have also collaborated with each other on Salem and Iddo Goldberg had a part alongside her in that TV show.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty along with her older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball parks since her four athletic brothers all played baseball, hockey, as well as both during spring and summer. Ashley did not walk, but she was a dancer, and at the age of just two years old, she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley began to be a dancer immediately after that. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated in high school. She also won the top awards for soloists in every important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
